What's on this worksheet
Every number bond to 10 in four forms: 4 + __ = 10, __ + 6 = 10, 10 = 4 + __ and 10 − 4 = __, in a new order each time. Each sheet comes with an answer key on a separate page.
Teaching tips
- Use a ten frame or ten fingers: the empty spaces show the missing part.
- Practise the bonds in order first (0 + 10, 1 + 9, 2 + 8 …) so children see the pattern, then mix them up.
- Link each bond to its subtraction fact: if 7 + 3 = 10, then 10 − 3 = 7.
